Operates:                               Monday – Friday during the academic session

Does NOT operate:               University Breaks or Holidays

How often does it run:         every 45 minutes – 8:00 am – 6:30 pm

Technology:                          All buses have GPS, and can be tracked on the UT App

Accessible:                           All buses may accommodate those with disabilities

This shuttle connects students, staff, and faculty to state-of-the-art research facilities, experiential learning, and collaborative opportunities. The IAMM and JARTU facilities represent almost 100 faculty, three colleges, and numerous departments. Students can take their classroom knowledge and create solutions to very complex problems.

The Institute for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing (IAMM) is a joint facility shared by a multidisciplinary team of scientists from UT and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and operates at the forefront of modern materials science. It represents one of the world’s premier centers for advanced materials research.

The Joe Johnson Animal Research and Teaching Unit (JARTU) is a University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture multi-purpose facility dedicated to providing controlled research and learning opportunities with livestock and other animals.  JARTU is an AAALAC-accredited facility and contains three wings with over 35 laboratories.  Laboratory capabilities are diverse and include suites devoted to captive animal rearing, reproductive physiology, microbiology, molecular techniques, zoonotic pathogens, necropsy, and aquatics.
